Bio

Born in Anchor Township, ninth of thirteen children of John & Marie Wichmann Suntken, he married Alta Marie Bristle on Feb. 7, 1940 at Sibley, IL. They had two daughters. She died Dec. 7, 1991. Ernest worked for Civil Service at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul prior to his retirement. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Sibley, Bloomington Elk's Lodge 281, and the Illinois State Rifle Assoc.
