Bio
Patricia A. Mattingly, 75 of Normal, passed away at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday (May 2, 2018) at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa. Memorial donations may be made to Homes of Hope, 705 E. Lincoln St., Suite 313, Normal, IL 61761, in honor of her daughter, Mandy. Per Pat’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and there will be no services. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa, is assisting with arrangements. Pat was born on July 19, 1942, in Fairbury, the daughter of Ernest Arther and Alta Marie Bristle Suntken. They preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, Todd (Teresa) Gullett, Clinton; one daughter, Mandy Mattingly, Normal; one grandson, Tim (Suzi Tuggle) Gullett, Towanda; two great-granddaughters, Madi and Sierra Tuggle; one great-great-granddaughter, Sophie Tuggle; and one sister, Karen Lavallier, Bloomington. Pat worked at the YWCA in Bloomington as a care giver, a job she loved. She was a member of the VFW in Bloomington. She enjoyed visits with her family, her dear friend Rose, and most especially with her Mandy. A guest book and registry are available at www.duffypilsmemorialhome.com.
