THE GETTYSBURG TIMES June 18, 1962 Funeral services for Earl B Kuykendall, 35, Fairfield R1, who died while at work Wednesday in the Iron Springs area, were held from the Wilson Funeral Home, Fairfield, Sunday afternoon. The Revs. Harold and Eliza Myers officiated and interment was made in the Mummasburg Cemetery. Vaughn Dagerhart led a contingent from the Fairfield Amvets, Charles J Gillian Post, in the military rites. Others participating were; Guards, Paul McGlaughlin, Melvin Singley, Kenneth Weikert, Fred Cool, James Herring, Fred Nagle, Harry McDannell, Frank Lowe, Joseph Seabold, Robert Bushman, Raymond Miller, Roy Baker, Melvin Herring and Charles Singley; color guard, Richard Cook, Raymond Miller, Frank Lowe, Charles Wilson and Martin Bentz; pallbearers, Fred Cool, Joseph Seabold, Arthur Weaver, Robert Bushman, Paul McGlaughlin, and Melvin Herring; Firing squad, Charles Singley, Delbert Haines, Jesse Sanders, Walter Preston, George Cool, Fred Nagle, Harry McDannell and Kenneth McCleaf, bugler, Thomas Kittinger. from Gettysburg Times Thus. June 14, 1962 if you care to add parents and survivors. thanks part of obit: Earl died suddenly at work in Iron Springs of a coronary thrombosis; He was the son of the late Oliver J. and Charity (Tate) Kuykendall. He had served in the US Navy. Survivors were his step-mother, Mrs. Susan Kuykendall, Morefield, WV; wife, the former Theda Izer; six children, Earl William, Cathy Ann, Vickie Jane, Terry Blaine, Kenneth Duane and Patricia Izer all at home; 12 brothers and sisters, Mrs Kathleen Bobo, Gettysburg; Robert Kuykendall, Columbus, OH; Bernard Kuykendall, New Orleans, LA; Roy H. Kuykendall, Gettysburg; Mrs. Pauline Killinger, Dundee, FL; Oliver Kuykendall, Carlisle; Karl Kuykendall, York; Hermand Kuykendall, Columbus, OH; Charles Kuykendall, Plainfield; Mrs. Sarah Riggleman, Earl R.
