Karl H. Kuykendall, Sr., RD5, York, near Manchester, died Tuesday afternoon while removing small trees near Dover. He was 49 years old. Death is believed to have been from a heart attack. Mr. Kukentall, husband of Mrs. Glayds M. Noel Kuykendall, was an Army veteran of World War II He was born in Moorefield, W. Va., resided in Manchester for five years and at his present address for the last 18 months. He was employed by St. Regis Paper company at its Mt. Wolf plant for the past four years. He belonged to Mt. Royal Full Gospel Church and the Starview Sportsmen's association. Also surviving are these eight children: Mrs. Margaret Wolf, Williamsport; Mrs. Janet Snell, and Mrs. Karen Litke, both of RD5 York; Karl H. Kuykendall Jr., Wrightsville; Mrs. Irene Burdette, York; Mrs. Rose Smith, Cadillac, Mich., and Ronald and Vicki Kuykendall, both at home; 13 grandchildren and seven brothers and sisters: Mrs. Kathleen Bobo, RD3, Gettysburg; Bernard Kuykendall, New Orleans, La.; Roy H. Kuykendall, RD1, Gettysburg; Mrs. Pauline Killinger, Dundee, Fla.; Mrs. Sarah Harris, Westminster, Md.; Earl Kuykendall, RD1, Carlisle and James Kuykendall, Flagtown, N.J. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Saturday afternoon from the Mt. Royal Full Gospel Church with the pastor, Rev. Mabel L. Seville, officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, near Dallastown. Graveside rites will be conducted by Susquehanna VFW Post 2493 of Mt. Wolf. Arrangements were made by the Diehl Funeral Home, Mt.
