Transcribed from unknown newspaper and date: Oliver W. Kuykendall, 28 Mill Street, Mt. Holly Springs, died this morning in the Carlisle Hospital after becoming ill while at work at C.H. Masland & Sons. He was 46 years old. Born on Mar. 17, 1920, in Moorefield, W. Va., he was a son of the late Oliver J. and Charity Pope Kuykendall. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with Co. F. 338th Engineer Battalion, in Europe. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Boiling Springs and the Mt. Holly Fish and Game Association. He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Catherine Myers Kuykendall; one daughter, Norma Jean, and two sons, Wayne and Arthur, all at home, his step-mother, Mrs. Susan Kuykendall, Moorefield, W. Va.; three sisters, Mrs. S.J. Babo, Iron Springs, Pa.; Mrs. Pauline Killinger, Mt. Holly Springs, and Mrs. Sara Harris, Westminster, Md.; seven brothers, Bernard Kuykendall, New Orleans, La.; Robert Kuykendall, Columbus, Ohio; Roy Kuykendall, Gettysburg; Karl Kuykendall, Manchester; Charles Kuykendall, Plainfield; Earl R. Kuykendall, Carlisle, and James Kuykendall, Boundbrook, N.J. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Roth Funeral Home, Walnut Bottom Road at Belvedere Street. The Rev. Matthew Lenn will officiate. Friends may call Friday evening at the funeral home.
