Bio
Helen A. Sulak, 70 retired Kmart patio Manager, died Thursday night, October 31, 2002 in Arlington, after a 2-1/2 year battle with leukemia. Mass of Christian burial was 1:30 pm Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Arlington. Burial was at Moore Memorial Gardens. Rosary was recited 7 pm Sunday at Moore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation was held 2 to 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Helen�s memory to Vitas Hospice 2501 Parkview Drive Suite 6000, Fort Worth, Texas 76102. Helen Ann Sulak was born on February 27, 1932 in Axtell. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Arlington. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Frankie Kapavik and by her parents, Frank J. and Emile Kapavik. The family would like to give a special Thank You to Ruby, Elmer and Jim Williams of Arlington, for all their love and support, and also to Dr. Barry Firstenberg and staff, also Cynthia and Susan of Vitas for all their special care they gave to our Mother. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Wesley R. Sulak; daughter, Darlene Ann Hollingsworth of Arlington, Joyce Marie Engle and husband, Mark Engel of Mansfield; son, Pat Sulak of Arlington; grandchildren, Stephanie and Chad Hollingsworth of Arlington and Jamie, Jessica and Jaclyn Engel of Mansfield; sisters, Josephine and husband, Freddie Hutyra of West and Georgia and husband Reinard Kramer of Waco; brother Ernest and wife, Ruby Kapavik of Gonzales; sister-in-law, Teresa Compton and husband, Marcus of Crawford; aunt, Blondie Pendleton of West; and many other extended family and friends.
