1966 July 13, Wednesday - The Marietta (Georgia) Journal "Mrs. Wallace Mrs. Ida Lewis Wallace, 80, of 214 Ayers Avenue, Marietta, died Tuesday following an extended illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the First Baptist Church of Marietta with remains placed in the chapel at 1 p.m. Rev. George Brown, Rev. J. T. Hice and Rev. Ben Turner will officiate. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will meet at the church at 1:45 p.m. Albert M. Dobbins Funeral Home is in charge. Mrs. Wallace was a native and life-long resident of Marietta and was the widow of the late O. K. Wallace. Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Pearl McEntyre, Covington, Ky, Mrs. Winston Barfield, Mrs. Sue Orr, Mrs. Bonnie Brooks, all of Marietta, Mrs. James Graden, Atlanta; sons, Oscar Wallace, Newport News, Va, Clyde Wallace, Eustis, Fla., Hal Wallace, Smyrna, Oliver Wallace, Birmingham, Ala, Richard Wallace, Hapeville; 22 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. John Barrett, Marietta, Mrs. Clarence Goss, Macon; brothers, Walter Lewis, Macon, Winston Lewis, Valdosta; several nieces and nephews."
