Age 86Y 1M 5D-Seattle. Wife of Samuel B. Carr; father's name was King. Birth in 1855 indicated by gravestone and death record, but 1900 census indicates 1856. Anna M King, 5 years old, found in 1860 census, McKeesPort, allegheny Co, PA., family 755. Other Anna M King listing found in PA for girl 8 years old. Anna M King, age 4, found in York Co PA in 1860 census, with Wesley B King. In the 1870 Illinois census, Wesley B King was with family including Anna M., 14. In the 1880 census, Wesley P. King found in West, Montgomery, Iowa with family, but not daughter Anna. Anna M King married Samuel B Carr 14 March 1875 in Montgomery, Iowa. She is in the 1900 census of Des Moines, Orillia, Sunnydale, and White River Precinct, King, Washington, showing she was b. Apr 1856 PA, wife of Samuel B Carr, with children Ira, Claude, Alvin, Lydia, Chester. See memorial for her husband for other census information. In the Iowa birth record of daughter Anna Margaret Carr, the father's name is Samuel Barttell Carr and the mother is Anna Margarett King. Washington state certificate of marriage 22137 shows Lydia Ferne Carr, age 17, married David Leslie Yeisley, 21, a farmer. He was son of David Hamilton Yeisley of Missouri and Jennie Elsry of Iowa, and she was daughter of Samuel Bartlet Carr of Illinois and Hannah Margaret King of PA. The marriage took place May 15 1911 in Seattle WA, with Alvin Bartlett Carr as witness. Her daughter Bertha Carr Robertson died 18 Aug 1959 in Port Townsend, Jefferson Co WA, age 79.
