Per death records,Age 86-Seattle. Son of Perry Carr; married Marguerite, per death record. In 1880, Samuel B Carr found in West, Montgomery, Iowa, age 32, b. Ohio, with wife Annie M Carr, 23, b. PA. Samuel's father b. MD, mother b. OH. With them were children Lora, 2, Bertha M. (3M) In 1900 census of Des Moines, Orillia, Sunnydale, and White River Precinct, King, Washington, Samuel B Carr (b. Apr 1846, Ohio) found with wife Anna M. (b. Apr 1856, PA) , children Ira G.b.Sep 1881, Iowa), Claude C.(b. Sep 1883, WA), Alvin B.(b. July 1891, WA), Lydia F.(b. Apr 1894, WA), Chester S.(b. Mar 1898, WA)*NOTE: 1846 for year of birth contradicts the 1847 record in the death record; this census says both of Samuel's parents wer b. in Ohio. In 1910 census of Mountain View, King Co WA, Samuel B Carr, 63, found with with Anna M Carr, children Alvin B (19), Lydia F.(15), Charles S.(12) and Bert L. (9) He was b. Ohio, as was his father, while his mother was from Vermont. Anna was 54, b. PA. This census says father b. Ohio and mother in Vermont. In 1920 King Co census, Sam B Carr age 73, b. Ohio, parents b. Connecticut, with wife Anna (63, PA) , children Alvin 27, Chester 21 and Bert L., 18. In 1930 census, Mount View, King WA, with wife Anna, son Bert and daughter-in-law Inga A. Carr (30, Wisconsin). This census shows both parents b. Ohio. Wife Anna died 9 May 1941 in Seattle, WA., age 86. Washington state certificate of marriage 22137 shows Lydia Ferne Carr, age 17, married David Leslie Yeisley, 21, a farmer. He was son of David Hamilton Yeisley of Missouri and Jennie Elsry of Iowa, and she was daughter of Samuel Bartlet Carr of Illinois and Hannah Margaret King of PA. The marriage took place May 15 1911 in Seattle WA, with Alvin Bartlett Carr as witness. Alvin Carr b. 07/27/1891 died March 1982. Ira Garfield Carr died 23 Dec 1956; birth record shows he was born 20 Sep 1881 in Montgomery, Iowa to Samuel Barttell Carr - Anna Margarett King. Chester Carr b. 03/26/1898 d. Dec 1975 7/23/2022: Peter Joseph ('PJ') Braun # 46869838 changed last name from Barttell to Bartlet. 1/31/2023: Marty & Harley #47240226 added marriage year. .
