Bio

Alvin was the son of Samuel Bertram Carr and Anna Margaret King. In his WWI Draft Registration Card, Alvin was single and living in Willcox, Cochise Co., Arizona. He worked on his own ranch near Willcox. At the time he claimed an exemption from service due to, "floating cartilage in knee, bad eyesight". The card was dated 6/6/1917. His gravestone shows that he still did service during WWI. Alvin married Dora Helvine Dahl on June 30, 1928.
