Bio
VEt of WW 1 Herbert P Eisenbraun was the son of Peter Emmanuel and Maria Eisenbraun Eisenbraun. He was the youngest of 10 children born to the couple and lost his mother before he was a year old. His father quickly remarried but Herbert lost his new step-mother ? Nachtigal within 6 months of his father's marriage. He received a second step-mother within a few months. Her name was Elisabeth Margaretha Traxel and he soon had 7 more siblings. Not all of the children survived to come to the US when the family immigrated in 1905. Herb married Emma Louise Willuweit Mar 14, 1923 in Creighton, SD and they had 10 children. Elizabeth Johanna, Annette Mabel, Delbert Martin, Ivan Robert, Esther Lorraine, Lester David, Paul Gerhart, Herbert Howard Jr., Wanda Marie and Andrew Earl.
