Melita Eisenbraun was born 13 May 1904 in Worms, Odessa, Russia to Peter Emmanuel and Elisabethe Margarethe Traxel Eisenbraun. She came to the United States with her family as a young child of 4-5 and settled in South Dakota. She married Victor Ochsner about 1926 and they had four children. Lucia Elizabeth, Bruno Theodore, Warner Calvin and Ernest Victor. Lincoln Journal Star (NE) - Sunday, July 14, 1996 Ochsner - Melita, 92, 3810 Locust St., formerly Sutton, died Thursday (7/11/96). Survivors: sons, daughters-in-law, Bruno and Phyllis, Florissant, Colo., Warner "Cal" and Diane, Lincoln, Ernest and Lynda, Aurora, Edgar Solverud, Cold Springs, Minn.; daughter, son-in-law, Lucia and Clarence Schneider, Lincoln; brother, Theodore Eisenbraun, Princeton, Minn.; sisters-in-law, Emma Eisenbraun, Wall, S.D.; brother-in-law, sister-in-law, Eugene and Tillie Ochsner, Sutton; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Trinity Lutheran Church, 12th and H streets. Graveside services: 3 p.m. Monday, Sutton Cemetery. Memorials to church or Lincoln Lutheran High School.
