Bio
Alexander was born in Schiban, Crimea, Russia the son of Peter Emmanuel and Elisabeth Margaretha Traxel Eisenbraun. Alexander Eisenbraun passed away Monday morning at the St. John's hospital in Rapid City. He had been seriously ill for the past year and underwent an operation for cancer of the stomach. He was born in Russia March 5, 1899 and came to America when six years old. His parents homesteaded north of Wall. Ten years ago he was married to Hertha Kapfenstein of Delmont, to which union was born one girl and six boys. Alexander is a half-brother of Albert, Martin, Gustave, and Henry Eisenbraun. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Creighton Lutheran Church of which he has been a member and burial was made in the cemetery there. Pennington County Courant, 17 October 1935
