Bio
Julia Allam Prosch, 78, died at St. Joseph Hospital Wednesday, Feb. 8. She was a member of the History Club and Lutheran Church, but was active in Pioneer United Church of Del Norte. She was born Sept. 29, 1905 at Del Norte, Colorado to Thomas George and Naiphie Saidy Allam. She was married to Ben Louis Prosch May 24, 1930. The couple lived in Omaha, Nebraska and Chicago, Illinois before making their home in Del Norte. She is survived by her husband; son, Thomas John Prosch of Camarillo, California; daughter, Mrs. H. Bruce (Barbara Jean) Cullings of Las Vegas, Nevada; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 11, at Pioneer United Church with Rev. Wallace Smith officiating. Burial was in the San Luis Valley Cemetery at Monte Vista. ~Courtesy of Rosalind Weaver
