Bio

Hazel Lucille "Luke" was the daughter of Starkey and Arrilla Freeman Hargrove. She married Henry David Bertram on Apr 1, 1921 Buna, Jasper Co. Tx. Children: Raymond Cecil, Billy Gene and Hazell Lucille (twins). When grandkids started coming along Lucille's name changed to Granny Luke. To this day I don't think I can remember Granny Luke ever getting mad or raising her voice at us kids. I do know she loved animals and had lots of dogs and cats. She also loved to plant a big garden and tend to it. She was kind and gentle and I miss her dearly.
