Bio

Billy Gene Bertram, of Kingsland, passed away at Kingsland Hill Care Center. He was a lifelong resident of Buna before moving to Kingsland. He proudly served his country with the Army Air Force during WWII. He was a retired builder. Billy was preceded in death by his parents Hazel Lucille Hargrove Bertram and Henry David Bertram; brother Raymond Bertram; sister Hazel Bernice Bertram Fontenot; son-in-law John Croy and son Keith Bertram. Survivors include wife Wanda Bertram; children Gene and wife Kathy, Lucy and husband Ernie, David and wife Marjorie, Tammie Jones, Allen Bertram and wife Megan and Tara Bertram; sister-in-law Norma Bertram; brother-in-law Clinton Fontenot; step children Debra Bertram and Ricky Bertram; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Services at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following at Antioch Cemetery in Buna.
