Obituary from Beaumont Enterprise published May 25, 2008 Raymond Cecil Bertram, 86, of Buna passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on May 22, 2008. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Monday, May 25, 2008, at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Born in Wealder, TX, Raymond was a long time resident of Buna. He was a retired self-employeed contractor. Raymond was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who loved fishing, hunting and gardening. He was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church in Buna. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Henry David and Lucille Hargrove Bertram and great nephew Keith Bertram. Survivors include his loving wife of more that 64 years, Norma Davidson Bertram of Buna, daughters Sandra Meier and husband Jim of Spring and Janet Bertram of Buna; grandchildren Wendy Cipriano and husband Rufus; Ray Hall and wife Larissa and Mona Harrison and husband Dennis; great-grandchildren Peyton, Hayden, Luke, Zachary, Abigail, Michael, Dane and Morgan; sister Hazel Fontenot and husband Clinton of Buna and brother Billy Bertram and wife Wanda of Kingsland and numerous extended family members and friends.
