Lubbockite Dies at 69 Services for Henry David Bertram, 69, will be at 2:00 pm Friday in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Simmons of Odessa and Rev. Tom Dale, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in City of Lubbock Cemetery directed by Henderson Funeral Directors. Bertram who resided at 2608 39th St., died Tuesday in St. Mary's Hospital where he had been a patient for the past two weeks. Co-owner of B&B Construction Company, he had been a Lubbock resident since about 1922 coming here from Gonzales County, Texas. He was also co-owner of Texas Lumber and Supply until it was dissolved in the late 1950's. After a short retirement, he became a partner of the construction firm here, with which he was associated at the time of his death. Survivors include two sons, Billy and Raymond Bertram, both of Kingsland, Texas; two daughters, Hazel Bertram Quinn Fontenot of Buna, Texas and Sherri Gayle Smith of Lubbock; a brother, Walter Bertram of Lufkin, Texas; two sisters, Gertrude Otho of Midland and Mary Lewis of Harwood; and 12 grandchildren that include Sandra, Janet, Gene, Lucy, David Bertram and Kenny, Diane, Ricky, Kathy Quinn. Pallbearers were V. O. Garrett, Bert Garrett, Mack Garrett, Billy Garrett, Raymond Davis and Lee Keesee.
