Bio

Hollis 'Dick' Griffin, 70, Paisley, died of a heart ailment Oct. 24, 1998. He was born in Oklahoma to Robert and Minnie Griffin. He was raised and educated in Oklahoma. He was a retired truck driver for Fremont Sawmill where he was employed for many years. Mr. Griffin was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Elks Lodge in Lakview. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his sons, Mike and Robert of Klamath Falls; daughters, Tammy Carter of Bend and Bunny Lanyon of Klamath Falls; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother Leory Griffin of Ridgecrest, Calif., Robert Griffin of Maud, Okla., and Bill Griffin of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
