OBITUARY: FUNERAL HELD FOR "DOC" GRIFFIN, 66 Funeral services were held Saturday, May 26, for H.O. "Doc" Griffin of Broken Bow whe died at age 66 in McCurtain Memorial Hospital at Idabel on May 22, 1990. He was a retired truck driver for Binger Oil Co. and was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church. He married Erma Lee England in December 1944, and they moved here in 1955 from Califorina. The services were held in the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Wood, and Lawrence Langley officiating. Burial was in Hochatown Cemetery. Arrangements were under direction of Nation Funeral Home of Broken Bow. He was preceeded in death by three brothers, Luke Griffin, Louie Griffin and Ted Griffin. He is survived by his wife, Erma Lee Griffin of Broken Bow; a son, Roger Griffin of Ringold; a daughter, Wynell Gibson of Broken Bow; five brothers, Lester Griffin of Battiest; Bill Griffin of El Reno; LeRoy Griffin of Ridgecrest, Calif., Robert "Sug" Griffin of Stratford, Okla.; and Dick Griffin of Paisley, Ore.; two grandchildren, Justin and Jill Griffin of Ringold.
