Mankin Rites Slated Friday Services for William W. Mankin, 78-year-old retired carpenter of 912 W 25, are to be held Friday in the Garrison funeral church, with burial at Memorial Park cemetery. Mankin, a native of Texas who had lived in Oklahoma City since 1917, died Tuesday at Mercy hospital. In 1955, Mankin was presented the Clyde Hale sportsmanship trophy by the Oklahoma City Golfers association at the All-Sports Jamboree. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. Surviving are his wife, Verna Winona, of the home; three sons, J. R., R. C., and H. G. of Oklahoma City, and a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Melone, of the home. Also a brother, Thomas, Oklahoma City; three sisters, Mrs. J. H. Spalding and Mrs. Earl Ressler of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. W. C.
