Bio

Eva died at her residence on Ash Avenue the morning of November 24th after a long illness. She was born Evalina Mankins in Georgetown, Texas, and was the widow of Hubert G. Thomas, a dairyman, who died suddenly in 1926. They had moved to the Duncan area from Shamrock, Texas, some 20 years earlier. She was survived by four children and nine siblings. Services were held at the First Baptist Church. Arrangements were in charge of the Beeson Grantham Funeral Home. Obituary published by the Duncan Banner, Nov. 24, 1932.
