Athens Weekly Review, 29 Apr 1948 (Bk p. 117) Mrs. Daisy Dingler of Poynor died Tues. afternoon at 12:58 o'clock in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Weds. at 3 pm at the New York Church with burial in New York Cemetery. Mrs. Dingler was born in LaRue on Nov. 17, 1876, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Jim Gauntt, & had resided in the county all of her life. She was married to M. M. Dingler in 1899. He died last April 1. Survivors: 5 sons: Raymond-LaRue, Jeff-Brownsboro, Freeman-Dallas, Bruce C. -Tyler & Joe Bud Dingler-Athens; dau: Mrs. W. J. Taylor-Poynor. sis: Mrs. Jeff Young-LaRue; bro: Jim Bob Gauntt-New York. 13 grandchildren. * Athens Weekly Review, 6 May 1948 (Bk p. 21) NEW YORK - Funeral services were held here Thurs. for Mrs. Daisy Dingler.
