Athens Daily Review, Mon., May 14, 1984 - Funeral services for Joe Bud Dingler, 64, of Malakoff will be held at 2 pm Tues. in the chapel of Foster & Brown Funeral Home with burial in New York Cem. Mr. Dingler died at his home Sun. following a lengthy illness. He was born Sept. 9, 1918 in LaRue the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. M. M. Dingler. He had resided in Malakoff for the past 22 yrs., prevously living in LaRue. He was a veteran of the US Army in WW II, a painter & a member of Lakeside Bapt. Chuch. Survivors: wife, Maggie Dingler-Malakoff; 3sons: Tillery Dingler-Baytown, Coy Dingler & Eddie Dingler, both of Malakoff; dau: Sonita Perkins - Dallas; bro: Bruce Dingler-Longview; sis: Estelle Taylor-Brownsboro, 4 granddaus & 2 grandsons. Pallbearers will be Charlie Pagitt, James Newell, Bobbie Taylor, Dan Taylor, Mike Rainwater & Tommy Carter. Obit provided by Bobbye Varner
