Son of Levi Snyder Husband of Mary May Snyder buried Nov 22, 1950 Lot 826 -------------- From "Telegraph-Bulletin", North Platte, Nebraska dated Monday, November 20, 1950, Page 6: Levi F. Snyder, Dies Here Today Levi F. Snyder, 81, a retired blacksmith, died at 7:55 o'clock this morning in a local hospital. He had been hospitalized three weeks. Snyder, whose residence here was at 2014 West Sixth came to North Platte from Hayes county in 1919. He was born March 21, 1869 in Illinois. Surviving are two sons, Leonard L. of North Platte and Cleo A. of Grand Island; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Gutherie, Cheyenne, Mrs. Eva Pethoud, Beatrice, and Mrs. Faye Donhue, Seattle; and 14 grandchildren. The Maloney, Cox, Kuhns funeral home is in charge of arrangements which are pending. ------------ From "The Hayes Center Times-Republican", Hayes Center, Nebraska dated Thursday, November 23, 1950, Page 1: LEVI SNYDER PASSES AWAY Levi Snyder passed away at North Platte, Monday. We have not learned any of the details nor when funeral services were held. Levi was a pioneer of this county and followed the blacksmith trade in Hayes Center for many years.
