The information that Levi Snider is buried here comes from his obituary. His wife was buried here. ------------ From "Aurora News- Register", Aurora, Nebraska dated Saturday, December 29, 1900, Page 7: Mr. Levi Snider was born in Union County, Penn., Oct. 28, 1827, and removed to Illinois with his mother when about 18 years old, where he remained until 1873, when he removed to Hamilton county, Neb. On the 25th day of Sept., 1850, he was united in marriage to Miss Catherine Penticoff, to whom were born twelve children, eleven of who32189004m, with his wife, survive him. At the time of his death he was 73 years, 1 month and 22 days old. Last March Mr. Snider moved to Cairo, Neb., where he was living at the time of his death, and his remains were brought here and laid to rest in Giltner cemetery by the side of a daughter who died some years ago.
