Herald Coaster, February 28, 1978: Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Rejsek, 86, of East Bernard, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church in East Bernard. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in East Bernard. A wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Davis-Dawson Funeral Chapel in East Bernard. Mrs. Rejsek died Monday in a Wharton hospital. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in East Bernard. Survivors include her husband, Albert Rejsek of East Bernard; four sons, James Rejsek of Minnesota, Frank Rejsek of Wallis, Joe Rejsek of Houston, and Stanley Rejsek of East Bernard; four daughters, Mary Serbus of Minnesota, Stella Kucera of El Campo, Celestine Kucera of East Bernard, and Agnes Litvik of East Bernard; one sister, Victoria Hlavinka of East Bernard; one brother, Joe Hlavinka of Oregon; 33 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Dawson Funeral Home in East Bernard.
