Herald Coaster, April 27, 1995: Funeral services for Frank J. Rejsek, age 74, of Wallis, will be held on Friday, April 28, 1995, at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church in East Bernard, with the Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating at the service. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Rejsek was born on August 30, 1920 in Becker, Minnesota. He passed away on April 26, 1995 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston. He was a farmer and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree Knight. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Esther Chernohorsky Rejsek. He is survived by his wife, Louise, of Wallis; a daughter, Bernice Ray and her husband, John, of El Campo; four sons, Donald and his wife, Janice, of Rosenberg, George and his wife, Troyce, of Houston, Frank and his wife, Donna, of East Bernard, and Wilfred and his wife, Jeanette, of East Bernard; four sisters, Mary Serbus of Oliva, Minnesota, Celestine Kucera of East Bernard, Agnes Litvik of East Bernard, and Stella Kucera of El Campo; two brothers, Jim Rejsek of Redwood Falls, Minnesota, and Stanley Rejsek of East Bernard; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Casey, Lance, Chad, and Clint Rejsek, Brian Ray, and Andy Sulak. Visitation will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church in East Bernard on Thursday, April 27, 1995, at 4 p.m., with a rosary being recited at 7:30 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Knesek & Sons Funeral Home, 122 North FM-1093 in Wallis, telephone 409-478-6311.
