EL CAMPO - Stella Kucera, 81, of El Campo, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003. She was born Aug. 2, 1922, in Renville County, Minn., to the late Albert and Mary Hlavinka Rejsek. She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America Court Queen of Peace. She was a homemaker. Survivors: daughters, Dorothy Pratka and Frances Klatt, both of Victoria; sons, Albert Kucera Jr. and Paul Kucera, both of El Campo; sisters, Celestine Kucera and Agnes Litvik, both of East Bernard; brothers, Stanley Rejsek of East Bernard and Jim Rejsek of Redwood Falls, Minn.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Paul Kucera Sr.; sister, Mary Serbus; brothers, Joe Rejsek and Frank Rejsek; and grandson, Douglas Pratka. Visitation will begin 11 a.m. today at Triska Funeral Home chapel. A parish and CDA wake service will be 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home chapel. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, the Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Memorial park Cemetery.
