William G. Schroeder, 54, Leroy Farmer, Dies William George Schroeder, 54, well-known farmer of the Leroy community, passed away at his home at 3:36 a.m. Thursday, March 11. Born in Germany, Mr. Schroeder came to the United States 46 years ago. For the past 35 years he had resided in the Leroy community. Funeral services will be held today, Friday, march 12, at 3 p.m. at St. Martin’s Church, Tours, Rev. George Duda officiating. Interment will be at St. Martin’s Cemetery at Tours. Pallbearers will be six nephews. Deceased is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Henry Uptmor, Mrs. Edmund Bettge, Mrs. Fred Uptmor, Mrs. Bill Tichavsky, all of this section, and Mrs. E. G. Bettge of Waco; three sons, A.F. Schroeder of Temple, Andrew and William Schroeder of Leroy; six brothers, Albert, Joe, Martin, Charlie, and Adolph Schroeder; one sister, Miss Katie Schroeder.
