Miss Schroeder Succumbs Here Miss Katie Schroeder, age 62, passed away here at the home of her brother, Albert Schroeder, at 7:15 on Thursday, Sept. 15th. Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Tours, Father J. T. Geiser officiating. Burial was in St. Martin’s Cemetery. Surviving are five brothers, Albert of West, Joe of Riesel, Theo of Dallas, Adolf of Castroville, and Martin of Elm Mott. Miss Schroeder was born in Germany but came to this country as a young girl. She lived at Bremond, Texas until a few months ago when she became ill. Since that time she had made her home here with her brother.
