Josephine Janes Spaulding Funeral services for Josephin Janes Spaulding, age 77 years, of Oak Grove, were held Thursday, June 24, 1999 at 2 p.m. at Janes Ferry Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Ray officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove under the direction of Cox Funeral Homes of 200 East Noble Street, Oak Grove. Josephine Janes Spaulding died Wednesday, June 23, 1999 at West Carroll Memorial in Oak Grove. Mrs. Spaulding was a member of the Janes Ferry Baptist Church and the Oak Grove Chapter # 66 of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest E. Spaulding; a sister, Mary Rose Maxwell; a brother, John Janes; and her parents, Joe and Mildred Janes. Survivors include her son, Robert Spaulding and daughter-in-law, Anna Reeks Spaulding, of Ft. Worth, TX; a sister, Angela Pippens and brother-in-law, Edsel Pippens, of Oak Grove; sister, Joy Gunter and brother-in-law, Doug Gunter, of Oak Grove; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jackie Gunter, Rowdy Sanderson, Roland Crymes, Wendall Allred, Larry Sanderson, and Jeff Moody. Thanks to Frank Janes for obit.
