Mary Rose Maxwell Funeral services for Mary Rose Maxwell, age 72 years, of Oak Grove, were held Tuesday, June 15, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Leslie Yates officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove under the direction of Cox Funeral Homes of 200 East Noble Street, Oak Grove. Mary Rose Maxwell died Sunday, June 13, 1999 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Mrs. Maxwell was the former Supervisor of the Fabric Department of the Oak Grove Wal Mart and was most recently known as the official "Wal Mart Greeter" at the local store. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mildred Wortham Janes and by a brother, John Wortham Janes. Any planned memorials may be made to the Hill Baptist Church Building Fund. Survivors include her husband, James T. Maxwell, of Oak Grove; a daughter, Susan Fairchild and her husband, Ricky Fairchild, of Alsatia; three sisters, Josephine J: Spaulding, Angela J. Pippens, and Joy Gunter, all of Oak Grove; two grandsons, Jim Bob Fairchild and Lee Michael Fairchild, both of Alsatia; a granddaughter, Sarah Beth Fairchild, of Alsatia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Carey Maxwell, Roger Maxwell, Ernie Gunter, Josh Maxwell, Shane Maxwell and James Jarnevic. Thanks to Frank Janes for obit.
