ANGELA MAE PIPPENS, 84 OAK GROVE, LOUISIANA Cox Funeral Home Oak Grove, Louisiana OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for Angela Mae Pippens, age 84 of Oak Grove, Louisiana, will be held at 2 PM on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove, Louisiana, Brother Jimmy Piercy will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove. Mrs. Pippens passed away at her residence on Friday, May 22, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Edsel F. Pippens; her son John David Pippens; her parents, Joseph Janes and Mildred Sheldon Wortham Janes; brother, John Wortham Janes; and 3 sisters, Joy Gunter, Josephine Spaulding and Mary Rose Maxwell. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Vikki and Larry Oliphant of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Vicki Pippens of Delhi, Louisiana; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers are: John Fleming, Dustin Parker, Cody Oliphant, Beanie Moss, Rodger Bolton and Wesley Oliphant. Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 24, 2015 between the hours of 4 to 8 PM at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.
