Per Texas DC, parents: John Foit, Anna Kramoli Joseph Foit, 81, of Route 2, West, died at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday in a Hillsboro hospital following several months of illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the West Brethren Church. Rev. F. J. Kostohryz and Rev. Gordon Hejl will officiate. Interment will follow at the West Brethren Cemetery. The body will lie-in-state at the church one hour prior to the services. Aderhold funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Foit was a life-long resident of West, where he was born in 1887. He was a retired farmer and was both a member and held several offices in both the SPJST and RVOS Lodges. He was also a member of the West Brethren Church, and had served 48 years on the board of elders of the church. His wife, Carrie, died on Nov. 1, 1957. Survivors are two sons, William A. Foit of DeSoto and Robert Daniel Foit with Shell Oil Co. in Vietnam; five daughters, Mrs. Lillian Foit of China Lake, Calif., Mrs. Helen Kudelka of Route 2, West, Mrs. Pauline Barton of Waco, and Mrs. Anna Ruth Lovecky of Route 2, West and Mrs. Dorothy Schovajsa of Inez; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be John Hegar, Willie Hegar, Emil Janek, Virgil Owen, Fred Heitmiller, and Joe Dujka.
