Bio
Mrs. Ray (Albina) Middlebrook, age 70, of 413 N. Washington, died December 23 at West Community Hospital. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. December 24 at the First United Church of West with the Rev. Owen Tucker officiating. Burial followed in Bold Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Middlebrook was born February 20, 1915 in McLennan County to Anton and Annie Koval. She married Ray Middlebrook in West on July 28, 1934. She was a housewife and a member of the First United Church of West. Survivors include: her husband, Ray, of West; three sons, Bobby Middlebrook and James Middlebrook, both of West, and Ervin Middlebrook of Chalk Bluff; one daughter, Rose Swank of Bellmead; six sisters, Millie Bailey of Waco, Sophie Ferguson, Rosie Husak, Mary Hromadka and Helen Marek, all of West, and Frances Barton of Waco; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were: Ervin Middlebrook, Jr., Eddie Middlebrook, Robert Middlebrook, Robert Bagley, Raymond Hromadka and Johnny Barton. Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
