Rayburn was the spouse of Jimmie Lou Fleming. They were married December 4, 1938. ******************************** Times Daily - March 15, 1992 Rayburn H. Fleming LEIGHTON -- The funeral for Rayburn Harold Fleming, 76, Route 1, Box 13, will be at 2 p.m. today at New Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Canterbury officiating. Burial will be in Old Town Creek Cemetery, Spry Funeral Home, Russellville, directing. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service. He died Wednesday, May 13, 1992, at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield. He was the widower of Jimmie Lou Hicks Fleming, attended the Baptist Church, retired farmer, and lived in Lawrence and Franklin counties all his life. Survivors include sons, Malcolm Fleming, Red Bay, Donald Fleming, Russellville, Dwight Fleming, Leighton; daughters, Martha Canterbury, Vickie P. Burns, both of Florence, brothers, Franklin Fleming, Pontotoc, Miss., Orman Fleming, Winter Garden, Fla., Hershel Fleming, Russellville; sisters, Amzonia Vandiver, Addison, Eliza Potter, Russellville, Madeline McElroy, Moulton, Katherine Schife, Arkansas, seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Bearers will be nephews.
