Dessie was the spouse of Joe N. Pace. ************************* Times Daily - January 20, 1983 Dessie P. Pace Mrs. Dessie Pearl Pace, 75, Phil Campbell, died Wednesday at North Alabama Hospital. She was a member of Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church. The service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church. The Revs. Orvie Pierce and Lonnie Kimbrough will officiate. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery. Deaton-Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, directing. The body will be at her residence until time for the service. Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Ora Lee Cason, Mrs. Othenery McGuire, Mrs. Dorothy Stein, all of Phil Campbell; sons, J.D. Pace, Russellville, Arlie Pace, Willard Pace, Cecil Pace, Joe Wayne Pace, all of Phil Campbell, Glenn Pace, Town Creek; sisters, Mrs. Amzona Vandiver, Double Springs, Mrs. Eliza Potter, Phil Campbell, Mrs. Mattie Leen McElroy, Town Creek, Katherine Scalfe, Helena, Ark.; brothers, Rayburn Flemings, Hershel Flemings, both of Russellville, Franklin Flemings, Pontotoc, Miss., Orman Flemings, Winter Garden, Fla.; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
