Married William Philip Henderson May 20, 1891 in Kerr Co. William P. Henderson 1868-1894, is buried with his family in the Henderson Cemetery. Obituaries. Kerrville Times, Kerrville, TX. July 17, 1957. Bessie Henderson Rites Thursday Bessie Elizabeth Henderson, 89, longtime resident of Ingram, died today in a Kerrville hospital. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be in the Sunset Cemetery. Survivors include: a brother, R.L. Wells, Ingram; sister, Mrs Dave Maddox of Alpine; and six grandchildren. Kerrville Mountain Sun, Kerrville, TX. July 18, 1957. Mrs. Henderson, Long Resident, Died Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at four o'clock from the chapel of the Smith Funeral Home for Mrs. Bessie Elizabeth Henderson, 89, who died Wednesday after a several months illness. Interment will be in the Sunset Cemetery. A native of Kerr County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Wells, pioneer residents of the Ingram Community. She was mnarried to Will Henderson, also the son of pioneers in that section, the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Henderson. Her husband died many years ago, and she had lived for the last several years on the Junction Road at the intersection of the State Fish Hatchery Road. She was a highly respected and devout woman, and her friends are numbered by those who were fortunate enough to know her. She lived alone most of the time and kept busy with her housework and her flowers and yard. The survivors are a brother, R.L. Wells of Ingram and a sister, Mrs Dave Maddox of Alpine; and six grandchildren
