Ladislav also had two other brothers, Jaroslav (B. 3-29-1909 Sucha Lhota, CZ D. 1-13-1968 Schuyler, NE) and Bohumil (B. 5-12-1921 Adam's Precinct, Colfax Co., NE D. 3-24-1941 Norfolk, NE). Both are buried in the Clarkson, NE cemetery.

Services Are Held for L. Kvetensky, 69, At Methodist Church Ladislav Kvetensky, 69, died Sunday Nov. 12, at the Valley county Hospital, following a long illness. Funeral services wee held at 2 P.m. Tuesday, at the Ord Methodist Church with the Rev. C.R. Campbell officiating. Mrs. Margaret Clough san "Just as I am" and "Beyond The Sunset" accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Shirley Karre. Pallbearers were John Janicek, Frank Janicek, Anton Novotny, Orville Crist, Frank Novak, and Joe Bartu. Interment was in the Bohemian National Cemetery. The Hastings-Pearson Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Kvetensky, son of James (Vaclav) and Anna (Nunvar) Kvetensky, was born October 4, 1898 in Bohemia. He came to the United States in 1910 settling in Colfax County. On May 4, 1926 he as married to Martha Janicek at Burwell. After marriage they lived on a farm northwest of Ord. Mrs. Kvetensky died Sept. 29, 1956. He as then married to Ella Stepka March 31, 1959 at Ord. For the past five years their home has been in Ord. A member of ACBJ Slavin #112. Mr. Kvetensky served as president for many years. Survivors are his second wife; one daughter Mrs. Martha Fryzek of Ord; three sons Lad F. of Ralston, Joe of Omaha and Anton of Grand Island; eight grandchildren; one stepdaughter; one step-son; six step grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Studnicka of Clarkson, Mrs. Mary Lowder and Mrs. Mary Chleboun of Omaha; five brothers, James and Emil of Rogers, Adolph of Brainard, Jerry and Rudolph of Omaha. He was preceded in death by his first wife, parents, one infant daughter four sisters, and two brothers. Ord Quiz Nov. 15, 1967 Ladislav was buried next to his first wife, Martha, the love of his life.
