Bio

Buddy was born to Benjamin and Elizabeth (Williams) Garrett, both of whom were born in Alabama. He was named Tradis (Travis) Mac but discarded that name in favor of Bud. His initials, B.G., were merely the abbreviation of Bud Garrett. He married Lola Mae Green, June 27, 1925, in Hollis, Oklahoma. They had three children, Lavelle, Imadell , and Patsy. Lola died in July 1975. He married Ruby Murray (widow of Doug Murray) in 1979. Buddy was one of thirteen children born to Ben and Lizzie.
