Bio

Neva Sue Chapman, 87, passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Memorials: May be made to Ridglea Baptist Church Building Fund. Neva was born May 11, 1922, in Dike. She and her late husband moved to Fort Worth in 1950. She worked for General Dynamics (now Lockheed) for 25 years. Neva was a member of Ridglea Baptist Church, Adult 6 Sunday School Class, "Young at Heart" and Benbrook Senior Citizens, where she had a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha Eppars; five sisters; one brother; and her husband, who passed away in 2001. Survivors: Son, Ron Chapman of Fort Worth; friend of 59 years, LaDelle Brearley of Fort Worth; and niece, Diane Gann of Duncan, Okla. Published in Star-Telegram on December 4, 2009
