Mrs J.E. Eppars of Dike died this Tuesday after an illness of 10 days. The Reverand Charlie Taylor of Mt Vernon will officiate. Services will be Wednesday at the Dike House of Prayer. Interment in Conner Cemetery. She was born in Dike on October 26, 1878. Her parents were Lucena and Elisha Thomason. She married J.E. Eppars in 1904 he preceded her in death. She is survived by 2 sons and 7 daughters; 3 stepchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
