Bio

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Orren, 80 of Mount Vernon will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Harvey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon with the Rev. Mike Milburn officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery. Mrs. Orren died Friday in Franklin County Hospital. She was born in Dike in 1907 to John Eppars and Martha Eppars. She married Morris Orren, who preceded her in death in 1955. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gwen Pierce, who died in 1980. Survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Early Neal of Chickasha, OK, Mrs. Reba Bell of Commerce, Mrs. Mozelle Davidson, Mrs. Oleta Jones of Sulphur Springs, and Mrs. Sue Chapman of Fort Worth; one grandaughter (Vicki) and one great-granddaughter.
