Bio

Mrs. Mollie M. Vanzura, 56, 809 Arlington Drive, died Wednesday morning, May 9, 1979 in a local hospital. Services were held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Louis Catholic Church with Monsignor Mark Deering and the Rev. Bill Benish officiating. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Connally-Compton West Chapel. She was born in West and lived in Waco until 1946 when she moved to Louisiana. She returned to Waco in 1965. She was employed with the Texas Farm Bureau from 1965 until her retirement in 1978. Survivors include her husband, V.J. Vanzura; her mother, Mrs. Frank Marak of West; a daughter, Mrs. Darlyne Lopez of Shreveport, La.; five sisters, Mrs. Edith Sulak of Arlington, Mrs. Evelyn V. Vrbas, Mrs. Henrietta Snokhous, Mrs. Helen Klish, and Mrs. Rose Kubacak, all of West; seven brothers, Arthur Marak, Alfred Marak and Harry Marak, all of West; Frankie Marak and Bob Marak of Abbott; Raymond Marak of Ennis, and Stanley Marak of Greenville; two grandchildren. Pallbearers were brothers: Arthur Marak, Alfred Marak, Frankie Marak, Harry Marak, Raymond Marak, Robert Marak, andStanley Marak.
