Funeral Services For Pioneer West Farmer John Urban, 65, farmer of near West, died late Tuesday afternoon at his home. He was a native of Czechoslovakia but had been a resident of this country for more than half a century. Coming to Texas at the age of 8, he settled near Caldwell. He moved to this community about 40 years ago. Funeral services were held at the Catholic Cemetery southeast of town at 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 22nd. Msg. Jos. Pelnar had charge of the services. Survivors are: six sons, Pete, Anton, Frank John Jr., Joe, and Robert Urban; six daughters, Mrs. Joe Pavlas, Mrs. J.A. Soukup, Mrs. T.B. Alexander, Misses Josephine, Frances, and Philomena (Filomena) Urban.
