Funeral Services Held Saturday For Mrs. Mary Urban Long-time West area resident Mrs. Mary Urban, 80, died at her home near Tokio about 4 p.m. last Thursday. She had been ill for about two years. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the West Catholic Church of the Assumption. Msgr. I.J. Valenta officiated with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary was recited Friday, Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Aderhold-Moore Chapel. Mrs. Urban came to the West area from Czechoslovakia when she was 13. She had lived here since. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors are six sons, Robert S. Urban of Waco; Antone Urban of Waco; Frank Urban of Lacy-Lakeview, John Urban and Joe Urban, both of Route 1, West, and Pete Urban of Abbott; five daughters, Mrs. Victoria Soukup of Route 2, Lorena, Mrs. T.B. Alexander of Route 1, Abbott, and Miss Josephine Urban, Miss Filomena Urban and Miss Frances Urban, all of Route 1, West; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were six grandsons: Jim Urban, John Urban, Joe Urban, Johnnie Alexander, Eddie Soukup, Henry Soukup. Honorary pallbearers were Henry Urban, Willie Urban, Jimmie Soukup, and Robert S. Soukup.
