Bio

Frances A. Urban, age 74, of West, passed away late Monday afternoon, April 6, 1992, at West Rest Haven. A rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. on April 7 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Msgr. George Doskocil. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery near West. Miss Urban was born October 10, 1917, in McLennan County, near the Tokio community, the daughter of John and Mary Ann Urban. She was a farmer all her life and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She is survived by two brothers, John R. Urban of West and Robert S. Urban of Waco; three sisters, Mary Alexander of Abbott, Josephine Urban of West and Filomena Urban of West; and several nieces and nephews. Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
