Bio
Paul Sulak, 86, a prominent farmer who had lived in the West community for the past 68 years, died at his residence at 7:30 p.m. last Thursday. Funeral services were held from the residence at 8:30 o'clock and at 9:30 o'clock from the Catholic church Saturday morning, Rev. E.J. Polcak officiating. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. Surviving is the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Ignac Hutyra of West and Mrs. Henry Jurek of Waco; seven sons, C.Y., Joe, V.J., and Phillip, all of West; Anton and John of Aquilla, and Albert J. of Hillsboro; 61 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Born in Czechoslovakia, Mr. Sulak came to America when he was 18 and had resided near West since.
