Aged Resident Taken By Death Mrs. Josephine Sulak age 88, pioneer resident of this section, passed away at her home a few miles west of this city at 1 a.m. Wednesday, January 8th. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Rev. E.J. Polcak officiating. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. Pallbearers were six grandsons. Born in Czechoslovakia, Mrs. Sulak came to this community many years ago. She is survived by seven sons, C.Y., Joe, John, V.J., and Phillip Sulak, all of West, A.F. Sulak of Hillsboro and Paul Koncak of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Annie Hutyra of West and Mrs. Henry Jurek of Waco; 63 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
